The Senior HSE Manager, in coordination with HSE Team, under the management of the Managing Director, ensures that all projects being built and operated meet the Company and industry / country HSE standards

• Lead, monitor and implement the company’s H3SE policies, procedures and program across the country
• Develop relevant H3SE procedures and templates in local language with integration of country specificities, based on Company procedures.
• Ensure compliance by all project contractors to all relevant legislation and statutory requirements, with the support of project managers
• Qualify new contractors on HSE point of view, review the HSE performance of contractors after each project.
• Provides support to PD and Operations and Maintenance teams regarding the development of prevention plans and verification of HSE documentation for subcontractors
• Assist Project Managers to implement improvement & prohibition notice to contractors and set up recommendation & corrective action (including close out monitoring).
• Review HSE Plans, Procedures, Method Statements, Risk assessments for the projects, & all Health, Safety & Environment related documentation to ensure compliance with Group and local requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections of construction sites or maintenance areas to make sure that the activities are executed as per the HSE plan and procedures.
• Identify potential hazards & recommend solutions at all stages of projects, including design review, guide business teams in populating the Corisk matrix for top management approval.
• Assist in performing environmental screening and ESIA studies for projects .
• Lead accidents & incidents investigations.
• Ensure proper HSE training of Company staff, organize HSE promotion events such as World Day for Safety & Environment.
• Make sure of the proper availability and working condition of safety equipment.
• Collect relevant information and report H3SE data.
• Defines and provides HSE KPIs for the projects
• Support the Managing director in his HSE Responsibilities for the country
• Participates in the realization of environmental risk analysis by defining significant environmental aspects and associated impacts
• Monitor implementation of environmental and social mitigation measures during construction and O& M phases.
• Participates in the deployment of HSE communication (Flash Safety, HSE REX Communication, Health Flash, Environmental Flash, World Health and Safety Day, etc.)
• Manages the Company’s CSR (RSE) projects and contributes to the promotion and reporting activities.
• Provides security risk assessments and manage security of sites.
• Participates to the budget and long-term planning campaigns.

• Engineering university degree at a master level
• 10 years of experience in the HSE field including experience in renewable energy operations worldwide
• Experience leading several HSE audits is required, and having an HSE operational experience is needed
• Project management
• Strong ability to implement pragmatically sustainable actions to improve safety.
• Excellent communication level (animation, trainings, presentations) with people on the field, and conviction skills, with the ability to be proactive and bring forward solutions
• Pragmatic spirit
• Rigor, creativity, autonomy, and cross-functional management in a demanding high-growth / high pace environment
• Fluent in English
