External Engagement and MAPP Business Processes Lead is a critical leadership role responsible for driving strategic cross-functional collaboration, optimizing business processes, and ensuring effective representation of business interests within a complex matrix environment. This role requires a highly organized and influential leader who can navigate multiple stakeholders, drive alignment, and enhance operational efficiency across the organization.

Role Responsibilities:
• Management of MAPP navigator team focusing on delivering all MAPP support services to local business in accordance with the business need and KPIs, monitoring and ensuring compliance in all processes.
• To Lead Business Process Integration related to facilitation of external business meetings and initiatives (sponsorships, speaker agreements, donations, grants, scientific articles)
• Lead EDO (Electronic document flow) to meet local business needs in close collaboration with Digital function
• External Engagement - coordination of external engagement processes between international MEET team and local organization / business needs, lead adjustments when / if needed.
• Internal Events – Lead the organization of strategic internal events at Pfizer, ensuring alignment with company objectives and seamless execution.
• Strategic Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and facilitate collaboration across multiple teams, ensuring alignment on key business priorities and fostering a culture of efficiency and accountability.
• Business Representation in a Matrix Environment: Act as a key liaison between business units and functional teams, ensuring that strategic objectives are clearly communicated and executed effectively.
• Executive-Level Meeting Coordination & Governance: Drive the organization and execution of high-impact meetings, ensuring structured agendas, clear action plans, and follow-ups that contribute to business success.
• Process Optimization & Change Management: Identify and implement improvements in workflows, governance structures, and decision-making processes to enhance business operations.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Influence: Build strong relationships with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners to drive collaboration and consensus.
• Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of meetings, decision-making processes, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Supports in preparation to Audit
• Responsible for issue management and resolution in local market
• Develops and oversees local market and corresponding global SOPs
• Use transparent metrics to inform stakeholders on the status: activity levels, issue logs
• Ensures compliance processes and global policies are followed at the local market level

Qualifications & Experience:
• 10+ years of experience in a leadership role within business operations, strategy, or program management in a complex matrix organization.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional collaboration and driving business alignment at a senior level.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and timeframes in a complex organizational structure
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior leadership and managing multiple priorities.
• Experience in change management and transformation initiatives
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and ability to navigate complexity with a structured approach.
• Agile proactive approach in problems detecting problems on a starting stage and development of prevention mechanics
• People management experience
• University degree (e.g. marketing, communications or business management)
• Required language knowledge: Russian (fluent), English (upper-intermediate)
