In LMK, we are establishing the modern insulin production and the processes in scope are formulation, filling, inspection, assembly and packaging. The site is part of Local Manufacturing (LM division) in Devices & Supply Chain Management, Product Supply and is working closely together with the International Operations office in Moscow, Russia.

About the department

The Finished product department is taking responsibility for assembly, packaging of Flexpen and inspection of cartridges in high quality and delivery in right time to Novo Nordisk customers. We must ensure highest level of implementation of GMP standards and effective production system.

The position

Holder of this position has the responsibility for the Assembly and Packaging processes support in Local Manufacturing at Kaluga and occasional support other LM sites and internal stakeholders. The key area of responsibility is to ensure competent support of operational teams with focus on continuous development in next directions:

• Processes automation and digitalization initiatives development, realization and further support
• Support production stability by timely engagement in daily issues and proactive continuous improvement of internal processes
• Development, realization and support of initiatives aimed at reducing number of deviations
• Keeping production up to date by continuous update of relevant SOPs, JIs (Job Instructions) and TROLs (Training OutLines) in compliance with cGMP, internal and external requirements and signals
• Planning and organizing training of employees based on related processes update.
• Validations/revalidations planning, execution.
• Handling of deviations, change requests, complains signals, audit findings and customer complains.
• Processes monitoring by routine Process Confirmations and Oversights execution at shop floors.
• Routine review of Batch Records, logbooks, update of process descriptions.

Qualifications

To make it a success ideal candidate need to have:

• an University Degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Food, or any other relevant education as engineer-technologist
• minimum 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical/food production
• experience of work with production supportive systems (SAP, MES systems and similar) as an advanced super user and master data maintainer
• innovative, creative mindset
• to be an active team-player, have excellent cooperation skills, and are used to work with people who have very diverse professional and/or cultural background.
• to be proactive and goal-oriented
• independent learning skills and attention to details
• written and spoken English (not less than intermediate level)
