ETNA, a US based FinTech company, is looking for QA Engineer to join our team in Erevan office.

Our mission is to make investing accessible to all people. We develop technologies for companies like Robinhood as well as technologies for crypto-trading.

Our main product — ETNA Trader — is a securities trading platform that over the years has captured a significant share of the US software market for broker-dealers and financial managers.

Your role will be to:

• Developing and writing test cases based on User Stories and Acceptance Criteria
• Keeping test cases up-to-date in the TMS (Test Management System)
• Performing manual functional testing
• Analyzing the results of automated tests, identifying root causes of issues, and logging defects
• Entering discovered defects into the DMS (Defect Management System) and managing the defect lifecycle (verification, closure/reopening)
• Collaborating with developers and technical support to verify production environment incidents
• Participating in release planning, estimating testing efforts, and reviewing defects

Successful candidate should have:

• Experience in developing functional tests for UI and Backend
• Proficient in writing SQL queries
• Experience testing APIs using Postman
• Knowledge of bug-tracking systems like Azure DevOps or Jira
• Understanding version control systems and multi-user code management policies (Git)
• Experience working with TMS (Azure DevOps Test Plans, Zephyr, TestRail)
• Experience analyzing automated test reports and root cause analysis of errors
• Knowledge of trading software (optional)
• Knowledge of programming languages (Python, JS) (optional)
• English level - Intermediate or higher
