We are searching for the HSE Head for the Renewable energy project.

HSE Head has to lead and oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management plans for solar projects. Ensure the highest standards of safety and environmental compliance are achieved across all renewable projects, aiming for zero lost time incidents (LTI) and minimizing environmental impact in accordance with company policies and client requirements. Provide strategic direction and leadership to the HSE team to uphold these standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive HSE strategies and policies tailored to solar projects and renewable energy initiatives.
• Oversee the preparation of project-specific Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMP), Health and Safety Management Plans (HSMP), and SHEQ manuals.
• Review and approve project EHS plans, emergency response plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure alignment of HSE objectives with project goals and company policies, obtaining necessary approvals from senior management.
• Provide leadership to the HSE team, setting clear goals and performance expectations to drive a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
• Oversee the implementation of HSE procedures and practices at project sites, ensuring compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and client requirements.
• Formulate and chair the HSE committee, ensuring regular meetings and effective communication of safety issues and initiatives.
• Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses, recommending corrective actions and preventive measures.
• Prepare and present comprehensive HSE reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, incidents, and compliance status.
• Monitor compliance with ISO standards (18001/9001 and 14001) and other relevant regulations, ensuring the integration of these standards into HSE practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety Management, Environmental Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• NEBOSH certification required additional certifications in HSE or related fields are advantageous.
• Minimum of 8 years of senior-level experience in developing and implementing HSE management plans for solar projects in the renewable energy sector.
• Proven track record of managing HSE programs in complex projects, preferably in CIS countries.
• Experience in leading multicultural teams and managing cross-functional teams is essential.
• Ability to draft, implement, and review HSE procedures and documentation in accordance with ISO standards.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to drive HSE performance and foster a culture of safety.
• Advanced communication, presentation, and report-writing skills in English proficiency in Russian and Uzbek is preferred.
