The Technical Data Analyst receives oil and gas pipeline in-line inspection data, checks for quality and quantity using proprietary software in accordance with company procedure, with emphasis on optimizing parameters for accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Computer-based visual evaluation of large amounts of data recorded by our inspection devices
• Detection of irregularities in the data through signal pattern interpretation to determine defects in the pipelines
• Organize and report In-line inspection results as per company and client requirements
• Maintain personal skills/certifications, and complete additional training as required

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• High school/university education at technical specialty
• Previous experience in Inline Inspection Data Analysis is preferred, but recent university graduates will also be considered
• Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal) are required – ability to receive and communicate technical information accurately and timely
• Analytical way of working - attention to details and the ability to concentrate on working on the PC over a long period
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office package and in dealing with PCs and folder structures, as well as the ability to familiarize yourself quickly with unknown/company software
• Hold a clean drivers abstract and valid passport, with the ability and flexibility to travel on an infrequent basis for work and/or training
