My client, an investment holding (IT) operating in the EU, is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) Director / Finance Controller.
This role plays an integral part in managing and optimizing the operating budget and supporting financial decision-making processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, efficient resource allocation, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex organizational environment.

❗️Please note: Only EU citizens will be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
1️⃣ Budgeting and Financial Analysis:
- Play a key role in the development and implementation of the global financial strategy.
- Manage the budgeting process, including forecasting, variance analysis, and long-term financial planning for the holding, as well as individual business units and departments.
- Coordinate and oversee period-end close processes and financial reporting (revenues, expenses, profitability).
- Provide actionable insights through detailed financial analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.

2️⃣ Liquidity Management and Banking Relations:
- Ensure effective liquidity management and optimize group funding.
- Lead regular cash management and cash flow forecasting.
- Manage relationships with banks in Cyprus and the EU to ensure smooth cash transactions.
- Assess and manage financial risks related to liquidity and cash flow.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years in financial services experience in a Big 4 firm (PwC, Deloitte, EY, KPMG) is a significant advantage.
- Strong understanding of business models and the ability to conduct financial analysis based on key performance metrics.
- Fluent in English (oral and written) proficiency in Russian is an advantage.
- A personal network in the EU financial sector is a plus, particularly for handling complex financial matters with banks.
- Ensuring accuracy in financial reports, budgets, and forecasts is essential.
