JOB DUTIES

Requirements:

• Higher education in economical/finance areas and not less than 2 years of work experience as Contracts Engineer (working with Well Operations contracts).

Necessary knowledge

• Demonstrable thorough understanding of the practical contracting issues associated with remote Drilling Operations, Well Engineering services e.g. Terms and Conditions, Payment Structures/ Schedules, Dispute Resolution and Amendment Tracking.

Necessary skills

• Be a first-class communicator, able to effectively interface with Company well engineering personnel, management and Contractor representatives at all levels and integrate in to the WCS
• Fluent communication skills (verbal and written) in English
• Proven track record in contractual negotiation, drafting, delivery and management of capital well engineering contracts and associated logistics support in an international environment
• Ability to work to challenging project/ tendering schedules and prioritise contracting requirements
• Able to constructively challenge existing preconceptions, find and apply innovative solutions and realise cost reductions wherever possible within the contracting process.
