The project team is currently seeking a Senior Engineering Manager (CTO)
Your responsibilities:

• Manage the software engineering stream and sub-stream to ensure efficient project execution and product development.
• Oversee the day-to-day activities of the stream employees.
• Onboard and offboard engineering team managers.
• Provide technical validation of the system requirements and solutions, align it with company strategic vision.
• Control over the planned release development timeline.
• Control over system design and product architecture.
• Synchronize priorities with the Product Manager across the B2Core stream.
• Constantly improve CI/CD practices in the department, tech radar, technological stacks, and protocols and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical challenges and opportunities.
• Report progress weekly and monthly to the Operational Committee.

It is obligatory: (please read carefully, each item is mandatory!)

• Strong knowledge of Go (8.0+), Unit/Integration/Feature-Testing.
• Minimum 5 years of commercial development on GO (at least 3 years during last 5 years).
• At least 2 years' experience in a technology leadership role in teams of 10+ people.
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, web application architecture, and database design, experience with applying SOLID, DRY, KISS etc. principles.
• In-depth experience in distributed systems, microservices architecture, understanding of Twelve-Factor App principles, experience building Cloud based SaaS applications.
• In-depth experience in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with any message broker (NATS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.), Redis, relational DBs: PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferably:

• Experience in splitting backend monolith application to microservices.
• Experience with observability: logs and metrics collection, application profiling and tracing, errors collection with Sentry, visualization with Grafana.
• Expertise in one of modern PHP frameworks: Laravel or Symfony.
• Familiarity with NATS JetStream.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g. TOGAF, AWS, Microsoft Azure) are advantageous.

Languages: Russian B2+ & English B2+
