Job Description:

• Process Design

The process engineer develops and designs the process flow diagram (PFD) and piping and instrumentation diagram (P& ID) for the LNG plant. This involves specifying the process equipment’s specification such as compressors/expanders, heat exchangers, distillation columns, and etc

• Process Optimization

The process engineer optimizes the process design to ensure that the plant operates efficiently and effectively. This includes conducting process simulations (such as Aspen HYSYS, PRO-II and Unisim Design) performing process calculations, and analyzing the plant performance data to identify opportunities for improvement

• Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Compliance

The process engineer ensures that the plant is designed in compliance with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations. This includes developing and implementing HSE procedures and conducting risk assessments. (ex, HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA…..)

• Commissioning and Start-up

The process engineer plays a key role in the commissioning and start-up of the LNG plant. This involves developing the commissioning plan, overseeing the commissioning activities, and ensuring that the plant is brought online safely and efficiently

• Process Troubleshooting

The process engineer troubleshoots any issues that arise during the operation of the LNG plant. This involves identifying the root cause of the problem, developing a solution, and implementing corrective actions to resolve the issue.

Requirements:

[Must]

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering
• English required (Read/Write/Speak)
• More than 8 years of project experience in process design
• LNG Liquefaction Process Experience

- At least, more than 3 years over of experience in process engineering of LNG Liquefaction Plant (over 3MTPA)

- Experience in major EPC contractor like Bechtel, Chiyoda, JGC, Technip, CB& I, KBR, Saipem, Black& Veatch for LNG liquefaction project

- Experience to analyze and optimize LNG liquefaction processes with process simulation software

- Strong technical knowledge of LNG liquefaction processes and equipment. and familiarity with cryogenic engineering principles and equipment, such as compressors/expander, special heat exchangers, and etc.

- Experience with process design of Plate fin heat exchanger and Spiral wound heat exchanger including detail design

- Experience with performance tests and troubleshooting at LNG Liquefaction Plant.

[Preferred conditions]

• Experience in mixed Refrigerant (APCI C3MR) Plant is preferential or equivalent technology.
• Experience of Russian FEED/EPC Project (Local Regulations)
• Russian language skill
