Just drop us an email at talent@wearepion.com.About the role.As a result of our incredible success and growth, we are looking for a Financial Controller to join us on a fixed term contract until the end of February 2026.Responsibilities include Lead end-to-end finance operations, including transactional processes, month-end close, and preparation, review, and presentation of monthly P&L and Balance Sheet. Oversee statutory reporting, tax compliance, and audit requirements across multiple international entities (UK, US, and Australia). Manage the credit control function, ensuring achievement of cash collection targets and maintaining strong debtor control. Implement and maintain monthly balance sheet reviews, including reconciliation completion and formal sign-off processes. Own and optimise financial systems and processes within Sage Intacct, while managing day-to-day relationships with external banks and accountants. RequirementsA little bit about you.We’d really like to hear from you, if you have Sage Intacct experience, with a strong track record of managing finance systems and processes. Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with proven experience as a Financial Controller. Strong team leader with experience in managing and developing finance teams. Skilled in statutory reporting, month-end close, and implementing financial controls across payroll, purchasing, and reconciliations. Solid background in audit, either from practice or leading internal audit processes.
