Job Title: Private School Teaching Assistant Location: England, Greater London, BatterseaJob Type: Temporary, Part-Time hoursPrimary Industry: Education and TrainingSalary: £15 - £25 Per hour, Benefits: PAYEJob Duties: Assist in the classroom under the supervision of the lead teacher, support students with their learning activities, provide one-to-one support for students with special educational needs, help with classroom management and behaviour, assist in preparing educational materials and resources.Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths, relevant teaching assistant qualification or experience, knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.Education: Minimum of GCSEs in English and MathsExperience: Previous experience working in a school setting preferredKnowledge and Skills: Understanding of classroom procedures, ability to work well in a team, good communication skills, patience and empathy, basic IT skills.Preferred Qualifications: Teaching Assistant qualification, First Aid trainingWorking Conditions: Work in a classroom setting within a private school, part-time hours, temporary position, potential for extension based on performance.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
