Job DescriptionTo become an integral member of a project team and provide as much support as possible in meeting deadlines, production work and project designTo enhance personal knowledge of architectural design and gain ‘hands on’ experience in the various stages of a project’s developmentTo undertake and record activities required to progress towards professional qualification, i.e. PEDR quarterly logbooks Key Responsibilities 1. Project AssistantProduce drawings in accordance with company guidelines and within project deadlinesAssist with appropriate researchAssist in the compilation of project reports and the production of models in line with project needsOffer support to the project leader with general production, problem solving and design inputCarry out such other duties which are consistent with the nature and responsibilities of the role2. Continual development of architectural understanding and awarenessBecome involved in as many architectural studies, investigations, coordination meetings and design workshops as possibleTo become involved with a variety of the aspects within a project, and become familiar with contracts, programme and project managementGain an understanding of the expectations of the profession as well as gaining exposure to the overall industry3. Proactive team memberBecome an effective and efficient team member, someone that the team can rely onPossess a flexible working attitude and work well within the team environmentProactively demonstrate knowledge and skills acquired at university4.
