This role is ideal for someone with experience or a strong interest in working with children with additional needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and physical disabilities.Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN. Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities. Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Support students with personal care and mobility if required. Help manage behaviour and encourage positive social interactions. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to monitor progress. Ideal Candidate: Previous experience working with children with SEN (in schools, care settings, or voluntary roles). Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting vulnerable learners. Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE, Level 2/3 TA, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential. Knowledge of PECS, Makaton, or Team Teach is advantageous.
