Job DescriptionDO & CO are looking for a highly motivated and energetic Health & Safety Coordinator who will drive health and safety standards through the provision of advice, support, and guidance.Health and Safety Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that DO & CO adheres to all applicable health and safety regulations whilst also providing support to employees and other managers in their efforts to maintain a safe workplace.A Health and Safety Coordinator will investigate accidents or near misses to identify the root cause of the problem and make recommendations for how to prevent it from happening again. This will include making recommendations for certain changes to equipment, procedures, or processes.Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulationsDevelop and implement safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environmentInvestigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actionsProvide safety training to employees on topics such as hazard identification, emergency response, and safe work practicesPrepare reports on safety performance and present findings to management.Collaborate with management to develop and implement safety improvement initiativesConduct risk assessments and assist in the development of risk mitigation strategiesMaintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions
