Job Title: Experienced SEN Tutor
Job Duties:
The Experienced SEN Tutor will be responsible for providing tailored educational support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Duties include developing individualised learning plans, delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and implementing strategies to support students' academic and personal development.Required Qualifications:
A recognised teaching qualificationExperience working with students with SENExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
Education:
A degree in Education or a related field is preferred.Experience:
Prior experience working as a SEN Tutor or in a similar role is required.Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of different learning styles and SEN support strategiesAbility to create engaging and inclusive learning environmentsStrong organisational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional training in SEN supportExperience with online teaching platforms
Working Conditions:
This is a temporary position with part-time hours, based in London. The role may involve working in educational settings such as schools, colleges, or community centres. The hourly rate for this position ranges from £20 to £30 per hour.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
