Job Title: Electrical Contracts ManagerLocation: Heathrow (Site-Based with Office Access Nearby)Contract Type: Freelance/ContractStart Date: ASAPOverview:An established and reputable Electrical & Mechanical Engineering company with over 25 years of experience delivering high-quality services to the construction industry is seeking an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to oversee ongoing works at Heathrow Airport.This role involves managing electrical refurbishment, installation, and testing works as part of a wider interior fit-out programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth on-site operations, compliance, quality control, and timely delivery.Key Responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end delivery of electrical works on site at Heathrow AirportCoordinate and supervise site teams and subcontractorsLiaise with clients, consultants, and the internal project team to ensure successful project deliveryMonitor project timelines, budgets, and resourcing needsEnsure all health & safety standards and site protocols are rigorously followedAttend progress meetings and provide regular updates to senior managementOversee procurement and manage material schedulesEnsure accurate documentation for testing, commissioning, and handoverResolve site issues swiftly and professionallyMaintain quality standards and ensure all work complies with relevant regulations and specifications Experience & Skills Required: Proven experience in a similar Electrical Contracts Manager roleStrong background in electrical installation and refurbishment projectsExperience working in live environments, preferably within airports or similarly complex environmentsExcellent knowledge of current electrical regulations and best practicesStrong organisational and leadership skillsAbility to manage multiple workstreams simultaneouslyStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience with testing, commissioning, and documentation processesECS/CSCS, SMSTS, and other relevant H&S qualifications desirableMust be able to pass airside security clearance for Heathrow Airport Additional Information: Majority of time will be spent on-site at HeathrowOffice support is provided from nearby HQThis is a contract to perm opportunity for the right individual
