Our client, a well-established organisation in the education sector is seeking a Payroll Manager to join its Finance and Payroll department. The company provides services to schools across the UK and is dedicated to high-quality service and operational excellence.Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced payroll professional to take ownership of a busy and evolving payroll function. The payroll system is bespoke, and full on-the-job training will be provided.To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials: CIPP Qualification or equivalentProficiency in SAGE or IRIS Payroll SoftwareStrong understanding of payroll legislation & complianceAbility to analyse and report on payroll dataExperience managing pension contributions & reconciliationsStrong communication skills Within this position, you’ll also be: Managing end-to-end payroll for a growing workforceProviding payroll reports to senior management and ensuring full regulatory complianceOverseeing contractual payroll obligations and mitigate financial risksAdministering pension contributions, including public sector schemesManaging payroll deductions for company schemesHandling payroll transitions for new contracts & incoming employeesImplementing updates, managing changes to NI rates and pension contributionsProcessing & reconciling monthly payroll journalsLiaising with external pension providers, HR teams, and senior managerRegularly auditing pension contribution rates & payroll submissionsUploading of the monthly pension contribution reports to pension provider, ensuring payments are collected within agreed timeframesCarrying out other ad hoc duties as required What’s on offer Salary is £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, dependant on experience33 days annual leave including bank holidaysModern office with excellent facilitiesEmployee benefits scheme – including gym discounts, 24/7 GP access, counselling, and financial adviceAccess to free online training coursesFree onsite parking Talk Staff Recruitment is an established division of Talk Staff Group and works with companies throughout the East Midlands and UK with roles including many areas such as: Accountancy & Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Contact Centre and Office Support.Talk Staff Recruitment act as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy.See our website for more details and jobs available -
