TPF Recruitment's client, a highly successful firm of accountants based near Paddock Wood, Tonbridge, Kent is looking for a Client Manager to join them, in a rewarding and progressive career opportunity. This will be a hands on position where you will be responsible for managing a varied client portfolio across statutory accounts, management accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT. You will have increasing responsibility and the opportunity to progress within your career and develop technically in this exciting client manager position. Managing a portfolio of own clientsReviewing all accounting and tax work in the officeActing as advisor / overseeing on all complex tax mattersEngaging with potential clients and managing communications to potential clientsCompleting personal and corporate tax computationsAccounts preparation for limited companies, sole traders and partnershipsVAT return preparation and submissionPlus, other ad hoc dutiesRequirementsACA / ACCA / CTA qualifiedMinimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within an accountancy firmTechnically capable of producing statutory financial statements and managing information to a high standardExperience of calculating and submitting client VAT returnsExperience of corporation tax and personal tax planningStrong communication skills, both written and verbal to facilitate client relationship development and be confident corresponding with clients and HMRC by email and over the phoneBenefits£50,000+ dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
