We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Southwark to assist with the appointment of an ASW Asst Team Manager/Practice Manager, on a 3-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay: £29.38 - £38.50 per Hour Summary: We are looking for an experienced Adult Social Worker to join the Older People and Physical Disabilities (OPPD) Case Management Team in Southwark. The role involves managing complex caseloads, safeguarding investigations, and conducting assessments under the Care Act 2014. The successful candidate will be part of a supportive team with access to professional development and opportunities for permanent roles. Responsibilities: Managing complex caseloads for older adults and physically disabled individualsConducting safeguarding enquiries, assessments, and reviews under the Care Act 2014Handling complex mental capacity work, including Court of Protection applicationsProviding multi-disciplinary input into Continuing Health Care (CHC) processesParticipating in duty rotation within the team Qualifications: Degree in Social Work or equivalentSocial Work England registration Essentials: Experience working with complex caseloads in OPPDExperience using Mosaic, Liquid Logic, Excel, and WordSafeguarding investigation experienceTwo years post-ASYE experience in a statutory setting Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
