The Science department is a vibrant and innovative team committed to delivering high-quality education.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 (ages 11-16) in line with the National Curriculum.Plan and prepare innovative lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.Maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect.Collaborate with the wider teaching team and school leadership to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.Participate in school-wide events, meetings, and professional development opportunities. The Ideal CandidateQualified Teacher Status (QTS).Strong background in Science teaching, with experience delivering lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.A passion for Science and a commitment to inspiring students to achieve their best.Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students.Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one).
