We are currently working in partnership with a Gloucestershire based Local Authority, who are looking to appoint a Building Surveyor with recent experience dealing with FRA actions on a minimum of a three month contract.This will be a full-time position based in Gloucester, with hybrid working (2/3 days home working), paying up to £33 per hour via an Umbrella Company.The ideal candidate will have experience action fire remedial works, and a strong understanding of building pathology.Duties will include (but are not limited to): Completing post inspections on building works following fire risk assessmentsEnsuring works comply with specificationsManaging contractor performanceCreating snagging lists Experience required: Experience required in Social HousingExperience of building pathology and fire safety Rewards and Benefits: Hybrid workingFlexible working daysOptions to work part time if preferable Working hours: 37 hours per week Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm (Can be flexible with this) Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.James Andrews is acting as an employment agency and business in relation to this role.At James Andrews Recruitment Solutions we try to respond to all applications personally, however, due to the high volume of applications this is not always possible.
