Job DescriptionAs a graduate powertrain calibration engineer, you will be working within the BEG UK team to develop and broaden your proficiency and knowledge in various powertrain calibration topics, while developing a wider understanding of Bosch Engineering GmbH. You will bring a positive and flexible approach and be expected to integrate and work closely with the UK and central German teams, transitioning between the departments when required. The role is a 2 year fixed term role.Learning the processes and tools to develop and test various powertrain calibration functions on the test-bench and in-vehicle, across all powertrain variants (petrol, diesel, hybrid, BEV, etc…)Working directly with vehicles, software, and algorithms to design and release calibrations for the various powertrain control units to meet customer safety requirements.Interacting with customers across different project topics to deliver production-ready calibrations and supporting the technical project management (e.g. project preparation and steering, controlling, quality, cost control, timeline, go to series, ...)Ensuring that projects are delivered in a process compliant manner, this also include ensuring high quality (preparation for quality reviews, assessments, lessons learned...)
