Job Title: Practice Administrator with Bookkeeping Responsibilities

Up to £32,000 DOE

Robert Half is currently partnering with a growing accountancy practice in East Bristol that are seeking a highly organised Finance Administrator with Bookkeeping responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in client onboarding, administrative tasks, and client relationship management while handling bookkeeping/invoicing tasks on various accountancy systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the onboarding of new clients, including issuing professional engagement letters, meeting Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements, and maintaining client management systems.
Ensure timely preparation and submission of confirmation statements.
Efficiently manage incoming calls, email messages, ensuring professional and courteous client interactions.
Liaise with clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings to provide support and manage queries.
Perform general administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and filing to support day-to-day operations.
Provide support to assistant accountants in various financial and bookkeeping tasks.
Handle invoice processing accurately.
What we are looking for:
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Professional communication abilities, both written and verbal.
Familiarity with AML regulations and processes is desired but not essential.
Experience with Xero, QuickBooks or Cash Flow is ideal but not essential.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.
Ability to adapt and perform additional duties as business needs evolve.
Preferred experience:
Prior experience in a similar administrative role within a finance practice.
Some background in bookkeeping or financial record management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
