Job Title: Behaviour Support AssistantLocation: WithamContract type: Full-time/ Long termSalary Scale: £85-£130 per dayStart Date: Immediately Are you passionate about supporting students to overcome behavioural challenges and achieve their potential?A School in Witham is seeking a dedicated and motivated Behaviour Support Assistant to join their supportive and dynamic team. As a Behaviour support assistant, you will play a key role in helping students manage their behaviour and emotional well-being, guiding them to develop positive attitudes toward learning and school life. Key Responsibilities:- Provide individual and group support to students who are experiencing behavioural challenges.- Develop and implement tailored behaviour management plans to help students improve their social, emotional, and behavioural skills.- Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and parents to identify the underlying causes of behavioural issues and create effective strategies for intervention.- Support students in building positive relationships with peers and staff, promoting a safe and inclusive school environment.- Monitor and track student progress, providing regular updates to staff and parents.- Promote the school’s values and a positive learning environment, reinforcing good behaviour and academic engagement.- Inspire the students to reach their full potential.
