JOB – Senior Project Manager LOCATION – Derbyshire TERM- Permanent SALARY - £60,000-£80,000, dependent on experience My client is an Engineering company in the Renewable Energy sector. They are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their team in Derbyshire on a permanent basis. The Senior Project Manager will ideally have the following attributes:5 or more years of Project Management experience to Senior or near Senior levelHold PRINCE2 or a similar Project Management qualificationAn educational or hands-on background in EngineeringExperienced in/knowledge of Oil & Gas/Energy/Process industries would be ideal but not required Technical Mechanical Engineering knowledgeBe able to read engineering drawings / hydraulic schematicsStrong client-facing experienceProven ability to manage multiple projects at once and deliver results on time and budgetExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and writtenBe able to work well individually as well as part of a teamBe flexible to travel as required Responsibilities include:Identifying and managing full lifecycle projects, from bid generation to manufacture and deliverySuccessfully delivering projects on time and on budgetProducing detailed works schedules, resource and projects plansLiaising with clients as required keeping them up to date with project progressWorking with design, purchasing and production departmentsPresenting project plans and reports to managementReporting progress, managing risks and responding to issuesMaintaining technical documentation as requiredMentoring junior members of the teamOccasional travel as required If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation.
