Optical Assistant - Dispenser c £28K + Bonus Looking for someone that likes to work in a friendly team, enjoys dispensing and helping their patients - a team player and if you enjoy training colleagues, that would be perfect!Would you be able to take responsibility - eager to learn and build on your knowledge?The Role!As an experienced Optical Assistant - Dispenser (MUST have at least 3 years exp),* you will be a vital part in this amazing business, dealing with different situations daily, running clinics, meeting and greeting patients, booking appointments, confirming appointments, making sure that the #NHS* GOS Forms are in order, so your experience will be crucial! Overseeing the smooth running of the branch.*Pre-screening, fields - OCT, giving expert advice, helping with frame choice, dispensing single/bi/vari focal, CL Teaches, general administration, your ability to help and steer patients in the right direction will provide an enjoyable journey for the patient and your colleagues. You will be a natural and lead from the front!Every day brings variety, you will work in a busy environment - juggling a lot of balls, keeping on top of everything, while being polite, sometimes that's hard as difficult situations do arise from time to time, but that's what will set you apart from the rest - your confidence, prioritising and making sure you do your best every day!There will be progression, the opportunity to build on your skills - you may want to become a Supervisor, or build towards Assistant Manager, or, become a DO, this could be ideal for you..YOU are an enthusiastic, practical and amazing person, what we are looking for - dispensing glasses - dealing with the public, a good people person, good admin skills - good telephone manner, great people person!
