Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, AltrinchamJob Type: Contract, expected to work full-time hoursPrimary Industry: Education and TrainingSalary: £90 - £100 per day (based on 6.5 hour working day)Job Duties: Supporting teachers in the delivery of educational programmesAssisting with classroom managementWorking with individual students or small groups to provide additional supportPreparing materials and resources for lessonsSupervising students during break times and outings Required Qualifications: GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and MathsRelevant experience working with children or young peopleClear and current DBS check Education: Minimum of GCSEs or equivalentExperience: Previous experience working with children or young people in UKKnowledge and Skills: Understanding of child development and learning processesGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a teamOrganisational skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred but not essential)First Aid certification Working Conditions: The role involves working in a school environment during term time. Full-time hours are expected, with occasional additional hours for school events or outings.
