Behaviour Specialist Learning Support Assistant – Basingstoke A specialist school in Basingstoke is seeking an experienced Behaviour Specialist Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in supporting young people with behavioural challenges, either within an educational setting or a mental health/support environment.Key Responsibilities: Provide individual and group support to pupils presenting with challenging behaviour.Implement behaviour management strategies to support engagement in learning.Work closely with teachers and SEN professionals to create a structured and positive learning environment.Help pupils develop social, emotional, and self-regulation skills.Build strong, trusting relationships with students to support their personal development. Essential Requirements: Experience working in a school setting or within a mental health/support environment.A strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and de-escalation strategies.Patience, resilience, and a proactive approach to supporting young people.Ability to work full-time, Monday to Friday.A commitment to making a meaningful impact on pupils’ education and well-being.
