3.5 TONNE DRIVERMONDAY - FRIDAY: START TIMES BETWEEN: 04:00 - 07:00People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 3.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in PETERBOROUGH. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.You must undergo a DBS check for this role.BenefitsAs a 3.5 Tonne Driver you will receive the following benefits: Ongoing work Weekly pay Site canteen Training provided Employee well-being program Rates of Pay: Basic: £12.21 per hour (guaranteed 50 hours paid a week) Day to Day DutiesYour duties as a 3.5 Tonne Driver will involve but not be limited to: Operate and drive various 3.5 Tonne vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Complete routes on a daily basis Remain legal and compliant with all driving and paperwork documents Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly Adhere to traffic laws and regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Loading and unloading of cargo as needed Keep the vehicle and equipment clean and in a good working order Essential SkillsAs a 3.5 Tonne Driver you will need to: Hold a valid UK Category B Driving Licence Previous experience in multi drop, minimum of twelve months experience No more than three penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes Must have good knowledge of UK road network Basic food hygiene knowledge Ability to recognise and report back any vehicle maintenance and safety requirements Must possess a good understanding of road networks and rules along with navigational aids Must be capable of using own initiative and working to tight deadlines Must be able to speak and read a good level of English Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills DBS check required Training Driving assessment must be completed Apply Apply today by clicking below
