This position provides the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of young students while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.Responsibilities: Partner with teachers to create an engaging and supportive classroom experience.Offer personalised learning support through one-on-one and small-group interactions.Inspire students to actively participate and build confidence in their abilities.Cultivate a structured and positive learning atmosphere for all.Guide students in mastering literacy, numeracy, and essential curriculum subjects.Promote student well-being by assisting with behaviour management and emotional support.Collaborate with educators and staff to ensure every learner receives the attention they need. Requirements: Prior experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role.A genuine desire to work with children and help them succeed academically and personally.Strong communication and teamwork skills.A patient, adaptable, and proactive attitude to overcome challenges.Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning (preferred but not mandatory).A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
