Biology Teacher Full Time ( 8:30-3:30) Role Overview: As a Biology Teacher you will be pivotal in delivering high-quality biology education. Your role will involve planning and delivering exciting lessons, assessing student progress, providing personalized support, and fostering a love for biology.Key Responsibilities: Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver dynamic biology lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.Student Assessment: Design and administer assessments, providing constructive feedback.Personalized Support: Offer one-on-one and small group support to students who need extra help.Resource Preparation: Create and organize teaching materials and interactive activities.Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.Collaboration: Work with colleagues to enhance the biology curriculum and share best practices.Parental Engagement: Communicate with parents about student progress and attend parent-teacher conferences.Extracurricular Involvement: Participate in science clubs, competitions, and school events to further student interest in biology. Qualifications: Educational Background: A degree in Biology or a related field.Teaching Certification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) are required.Experience: Previous teaching experience is preferred, with a proven track record of effective teaching and student progress.Passion for Education: A genuine passion for Biology and a commitment to inspiring and supporting students.Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.Adaptability: Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs and learning styles.Continuous Learning: Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with educational best practices. Requirements: The right to work in the UK.Has or is willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.Demonstrated commitment to education and personal growth.
