This is truly an exciting time to join us on our journey. We are seeking an IT Environment Engineer to join our Technology function and support out clients. This is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to grow and develop their skills and progress their career. This role should be completed in a hybrid way, spending 1 day a week on client site in Central London. Key Responsibilities Provision, configure, and maintain IT environments for production and non-production. Ensure consistency between environments to reduce deployment and release risks. Automate and streamline provisioning and configuration with DevOps Engineers. Manage cloud and on-premise infrastructure for availability and optimisation. Optimise configuration, resource utilisation, and Azure cloud costs. Implement and maintain configuration management tools. Collaborate with DevOps Engineers to support automation and reduce manual intervention. Maintain version-controlled environment configuration. Support access control management with security teams. Maintain and update the CMDB regularly. Define and track performance metrics to quickly identify and resolve issues, support post-implementation reviews for continuous improvement, and identify opportunities for process improvements and automation. Provide guidance on Change, Environment, and Release governance frameworks and processes. Skills & Experience Experience with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, and GitHub. Proficiency in Azure Cloud platforms and native services. Technical skills in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and BICEP. Experience in scripting and automation, specifically with PowerShell. Familiarity with environment processes, governance frameworks, and configuration management. Strong communication and collaboration skills; proactive in asking questions and facilitating discussions.
