Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: South East England, Surrey, CroydonJob Type: Contract, Full-Time hoursPrimary Industry: Education and TrainingSalary: £90 - £100 Per dayJob Duties: Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and developmentAssisting teachers in planning and delivering differentiated lessons to meet individual learning needsProviding one-to-one or small group support to SEN students during class timeHelping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all studentsCollaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for SEN students Required Qualifications: GCSEs or equivalent in English and MathematicsRelevant qualifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or willingness to undergo trainingEnhanced DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) Education: Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent in English and MathematicsExperience: Prior experience working with children or individuals with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is desirableKnowledge and Skills: Understanding of different learning needs and strategies to support SEN studentsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPatience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting student development Preferred Qualifications: Higher level qualifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN)Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a similar setting Working Conditions: Working hours are typically during school hours, Monday to FridayMay involve some additional hours for planning and meetingsWork is mainly classroom-based with opportunities for outdoor activities and field trips All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
