Job DescriptionAssystem Energy & Infrastructure are recruiting for a Buyer to work at our customers site in Derby on a 6 months contract basis.Role details: Job title: BuyerContract length: 6months Location: Derby Contract type: PAYE via Umbrella solutionKey responsibilities include but are not limited to:The role of the Buyer will support the creation of the integrated commodity / category strategy(s)Support the execution the associated strategic sourcing and commercial activities.You will be responsible for the in-contract management of your designated suppliers, providing continuity of supply and required levels of technology, quality, cost and delivery performance.As a Buyer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all sourcing activities are in line with the defined purchasing processes, which will include the raising and management of all purchase documentation within the appropriate system.
