Job Title: Construction SolicitorLocation: South ManchesterWorking Hours: Full Time Office Based Salary: DOEFirm: Legal 500 My Client is leading legal 500 firm who are looking for an experienced Construction Solicitor to join a leading Construction Partner in the Manchester region. Key Responsibilities: * The role will be primarily contentious in the short term and experience in all relevant forms of dispute resolution (adjudication, litigation, arbitration, expert determination and mediation) arising under JCT and other construction contracts is required. The team provides strategic advice to clients to ensure that dispute are resolved as cost effectively as possible whilst achieving the best possible outcome. A proactive and innovative approach to dispute avoidance and resolution is encouraged. * There will be the ability to undertake some non-contentious work and experience in this area is preferred, but not essential - relevant training can be provided as required. The work in this area comprises advice on the procurement of construction projects, including the drafting and negotiation of construction contracts, consultancy appointments and ancillary documentation such as deeds of novation, collateral warranties, parent company guarantees and performance bonds. The Ideal Construction Solicitor will have:* Enthusiastic about maintaining high standards of client care * Highly organised and efficient * Must be a strong tactical lawyer with excellent commercial skills * Diligent with exceptional attention to detail * Must have excellent communication skills * Identify legal risks and advise clients on risk mitigation strategies, ensuring that all transactions comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. * Work closely with other teams in the firm, including real estate, corporate, and fi-nance departments, to deliver integrated solutions to clients. * Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service delivery and effective communication, ensuring long-term client retention. * Adhering to the SLA terms within the provided time frame. * Handling multiple transactions simultaneously, ensuring that each is completed within the set deadline date in a professional manner. * Ability to manage and prioritise high volume caseload in a fast-paced environment. * Prioritising urgent matters effectively while maintaining attention to details across all tasks. * Maintain accurate and up to date records of multiple ongoing cases.
