Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a primary school setting? Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work full-time in primary schools across Plymouth for the summer term.About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide essential support to teachers and students, ensuring a positive and effective learning environment. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management Working with small groups or on a one-to-one basis with pupils who need additional support Assisting with learning activities, assessments, and pupil engagement Helping to create a safe and inclusive learning space for all students Encouraging pupil participation and fostering a love for learning Providing support for students with SEND and additional needs as required Candidate Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must have: Previous experience working in a UK-based primary school A passion for education and supporting young learners Strong communication and interpersonal skills A proactive and adaptable approach to working in different classroom settings The ability to manage behaviour effectively and support children with varying needs A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential) Compliance & Safeguarding: At Teaching Personnel, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is our top priority.
