Job Advert: 1:1 Teaching Assistant – Primary School in SalisburyAre you passionate about supporting young learners and making a real difference in their education? We are currently seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Salisbury through a flexible and supportive supply agency. This role offers both part-time and long-term opportunities, with the option for day-to-day bookings or more extended placements.Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one support to a primary school pupil, tailoring your approach to their individual needs.Assist in the delivery of lessons and activities to ensure full participation and understanding.Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), encouraging their development and progress in line with their learning goals.Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social, emotional, and academic growth.Work closely with the class teacher and other school staff to monitor and review progress. Requirements: Experience working with SEN pupils is essential, as the role involves supporting children with additional needs.Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one (we can assist with this process).A positive, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children’s learning and development.Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents.Flexibility and adaptability, as you may be required to work across different year groups and adapt to changing needs.
