Senior Backend Engineer - Java | Cloud Security The CompanyMy client is a rapidly growing cloud security company specializing in runtime-powered solutions. Their technology enables businesses to detect and respond to cloud security threats in real-time by leveraging automation, contextual intelligence, and cutting-edge infrastructure. Operating in a high-growth market, they work with major cloud providers and modern architectures to deliver innovative security solutions.As they continue to expand, they are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to play a key role in the design, development, and scaling of mission-critical backend systems. The RoleLead backend development from architecture through to deployment and monitoring.Drive technical and architectural decisions to optimize performance and scalability.Conduct code reviews and design discussions to ensure best practices.Improve system efficiency, reliability, and security through robust backend engineering.Collaborate closely with DevOps, Frontend, and Security teams. Key Requirements5+ years of backend development experience with Java (experience with Golang is a plus).Strong knowledge of Java frameworks (Spring Boot, Quarkus, or similar).Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure).Proven ability to design and implement data-intensive systems (databases, event-driven systems, messaging architectures).Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and microservices architecture.Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native development.Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on scalability, security, and high availability.
