Security Engineer Location: Norwich Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience Hours: 40 hours per week + on-call rota, approx. every 6 weeks Are you a skilled Security Engineer with experience in alarms, CCTV, and access control? If you have at least two years of industry experience and a strong understanding of SSAIB standards, this could be the perfect role for you! About the Role: As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of security systems to the highest industry standards. You will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction, safety, and system efficiency while working independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: Install and maintain security systems in compliance with SSAIB standards. Conduct system commissioning and handovers to customers. Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently. Complete electronic reports accurately and on time. Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota to provide 24-hour customer support. Share technical expertise and collaborate with colleagues to maintain high service standards. Skills & Experience Required: Essential: Minimum of 2 years' experience in security engineering. Understanding of SSAIB standards. Strong IT skills and experience working with software-based security systems. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Full UK driving licence. Right to work in the UK. Benefits: Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 Company vehicle + fuel card. Laptop & tablet provided.
