Key Responsibilities:
Conducting assessments to understand the unique needs of individuals with autism.Designing and implementing personalized support plans and strategies.Working with individuals to develop social, communication, and life skills.Providing one-on-one support and intervention for children and/or adults with autism.Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure the delivery of effective care.Monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments to intervention plans.Providing training and guidance to caregivers, teachers, and other professionals working with individuals with autism.Maintaining accurate records and documentation of interventions and progress.
Essential Requirements:
A degree in Psychology, Special Education, Social Work, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Proven experience working with individuals with autism, preferably in a similar role.Strong understanding of autism spectrum disorder and evidence-based intervention strategies.Ability to develop personalized support plans based on individual needs.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to support individuals with autism.Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Skills:
Knowledge of sensory processing issues and strategies for addressing them.Familiarity with educational settings or vocational training for individuals with autism.Experience working with other developmental disabilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
