The successful candidate will work with academically gifted students to help them maximize their potential and achieve academic excellence.About You - Graduate Russell Group Teaching Assistant: Hold a degree (minimum 2:1) from a Russell Group University.Graduates from a number of different subject areas welcome to applyPassionate about education and working with young people.Become a role model to students aspiring to take a similar path to youMay have prior experience in tutoring or working in schools (desirable but not essential).Are considering teacher training, such as a PGCE, School Direct or Teach First The Role: Earn up to £520 per weekLong-term, full time Graduate Russell Group Teaching Assistant role starting ASAPWork closely with students, providing one-on-one and small-group academic supportAssist in preparing lesson materials and resourcesTeacher training opportunities from September 2025, ‘Teach first’ and the evidence only routeHelp manage classroom activities, fostering a positive learning environmentContribute to raising student engagement and attainmentSociable working hours between 8:00am and 4:00pm, Monday – Friday As a Graduate Russell Group Teaching Assistant, you’ll work alongside teachers and other education support staff to work closely with students in the classroom, as well as 1:1 and in small group settings. You’ll have the opportunity to inspire more-able students to achieve their potential, by instilling an interest for learning in them.
