Segal Placements is delighted to be instructed by a profitable and growing (over 100 fee earners) London Firm on the edge of the City who are keen to bring in a Head of Employment. This individual will act as the guiding force of a fully-functioning team 'in situ' comprising Senior, Mid and Junior Associates and a Paralegal. The Firm currently undertakes significant amounts of work from for their own internal clientbase including multiple mid-sized Corporates / SME's so there is likely to be some work to tap into, although the successful candidate will have, through the course of their career, been able to nurture a small/mid-sized client base of their own. The individual in question may focus either more on contentious or non-contentious or it may be an even split although they ought to have largely worked on the defendant side. This is a role that the Firm are keen to fill swiftly and this hire has been mandated by those at the top. Pay will be competitive with potential to join full equity depending upon the metrics of that individual's practice.
