Job DescriptionAbout this role: Lead FinCrime Analyst - AML HandlingWe’re looking for a FinCrime Analyst who is passionate about our mission of Money Without Borders to partner with our financial crime product teams to help drive data-driven and innovative growth decisions while helping to combat financial crime. In this vital role, you will innovate and implement controls that enhance security without compromising user convenience.Most importantly, you’ll collaborate closely with your product managers, designers, data scientists and engineers to bring your insights into real change for our customers and help drive our mission!Your mission: At Wise our mission is Money Without Borders - instant, convenient, transparent and eventually free. Here’s how you’ll be contributing to the Financial Crime team:You’ll expose the vast data on our processes to the product teams across Wise in a meaningful and actionable way in which people can proactively access the information without friction or need for analyst assistanceProactively contribute to, own, create, track key metrics and results for your product and operational teams, keeping them accountable throughout the quarterSupport stakeholders by conducting research, preparing reports, and visualisationsWork with data scientist in understanding and developing use cases for automation, including the use of LLMs, within current investigation and reporting processesBuilding the framework for managing risk and customer experience at scaleDrive the discovery phase by scoping new opportunities and suggesting initiatives to improve our investigation tooling and processesThe role requires collaboration with Product, Data Scientists, Engineering and Operations Team This role will give you the opportunity to: Be part of a positive change in the world.
