Clarity is recruiting for a Managing Pharmacist for a thriving pharmacy in St Austell. What you need to know:This is a permanent full time role. 5 days during the week, 41.5 hours per week. You will be expected to work in two stores approx 2-3 miles within each other. Opening hours for both stores are 9am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Saturdays 9am - 1pm in one store, 9am - 12pm in other store. Rota to be confirmed with successful candidate.Both stores dispense approx 6,000 items per month. Both are fully staffed. What you'll be doing:Dispense medications as prescribed by doctors and other healthcare professionals.Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy and to evaluate their suitability for the patient.Provide advice to patients on the use of medicines, including dosage, side effects, and interactions with other medications.Counsel patients on the management of chronic diseases.Conduct medication reviews to ensure that patients are taking their medications as prescribed.Order and stock medications and medical supplies.Maintain a safe and secure pharmacy environment.Stay up-to-date on new drugs and treatments.What we're looking for:Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work as part of the team as well as on your own initiativeGood time managementPassion for the delivery of excellent customer serviceWhat we require:Registration with the GPhCRelevant experience in a pharmacy setting.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.What's on offer:GPhC membership fees paidPension contributionProfessional service bonus5 weeks holiday per annumFor more information about this job or if you need help with your CV, feel free to contact me at lara@claritylocums.co.uk or Book a call back/career consultationAll inquires are completely confidential!
