We are looking for an Anti-Money Laundering professional to join our team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering regulations and detecting potential financial crimes. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining of Shanghai Commercial Bank’s compliance strategies, policies, and procedures, delivering training, managing record-keeping, and ensuring thorough customer due diligence. You should ensure our business processes and transactions follow all relevant legal and internal guidelines, act as the focal point for anti-money laundering oversight, you will manage the Bank’s financial crime risk and ensure all business processes adhere to legal and internal guidelines.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for devising and implementing branch risk-based AML strategiesHead up and manage KYC, Transaction monitoring and sanctions screening proceduresTo develop and maintain policies and procedures to be in compliance with relevant banking regulationsCollaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements & policies and proceduresProvide advisory services on AML/CTF to the relevant staffEnsure all internal SARs reports are investigated and passed on to relevant authorities if neededCreate and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance findingsTo keep other departments abreast of relevant banking regulationsProvide training to all staff on the latest regulations and processesWork with Group AML Compliance Department to develop robust working practices to identify and mitigate financial crime risksResponsible for reports (Monthly AML Dashboard Reporting, Anti-Money Laundering Quarterly Transactions Report, Monthly Legal and Compliance Report, etc.)Requirements:Strong knowledge of FCA, AML laws and regulation/ FATF Recommendations of Central Bank of UKExcellent analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and anomaliesDetail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in reviewing customer accounts and transactionsStrong written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration (native speaker level in Cantonese)Good team player with strong interpersonal skillsWell organised and able to priorities workloadWorking experience in a bank or financial institution is a must Job Type: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:Company pensionLife insurancePrivate medical insuranceWorking Hours: Monday to FridayWork Location: EC3V 3NB About usShanghai Commercial Bank (SCB) is an international bank based in Hong Kong, currently maintains network of branches in Hong Kong and overseas branches.
