We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant manager to join our busy store team in Merry Hill. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.Key Responsibilities:Greet and engage customers, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.Provide in-depth product knowledge and expert advice to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.Maintain a high standard of customer service, addressing queries and resolving any issues efficiently.Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.Assist with stock management, including replenishment and organizing displays to maintain a visually appealing store.Operate the till and handle transactions accurately and efficiently.Ensure the store remains clean, tidy, and safe for both customers and staff.Support the team in achieving sales targets and contributing to the overall success of the store.Ideal Candidate:We are seeking a proactive and friendly individual who is passionate about retail and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a sales assistant role and looking to progress as assistant manager and have knowledge in leading a team working together with the manager and be comfortable working in a busy, customer-focused environment.Skills and Experience Required:Proven experience as a Retail Sales Assistant or in a similar customer-facing role.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.Ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.Strong sales skills, including upselling and cross-selling.A proactive approach to problem-solving and multitasking in a busy environment.Knowledge of vaping products (desirable but not required).Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment.Salary and Hours:Competitive hourly rate based on experience.Full-time position, with a minimum of 35 hours per week (including weekends).Benefits:Staff discount on products.Pension scheme (where applicable).Opportunities for career progression within a growing company.How to Apply:If you're ready to bring your sales experience and enthusiasm to a busy, dynamic store, we’d love to hear from you!
