About the Role We are recruiting for a passionate and experienced Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join a cutting-edge veterinary practice in Faversham, Kent. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead a team while providing exceptional care to animals in a supportive and dynamic environment. Job Title: Lead Veterinary Surgeon Location: Faversham, Kent Position: Full-Time (40 hours per week) Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per year As the Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you will be responsible for guiding and mentoring a talented team, ensuring high standards of clinical care, and promoting a positive and collaborative working atmosphere. You will be involved in both clinical and managerial aspects, shaping the direction of the clinic and fostering a culture of excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead and inspire a dedicated veterinary team, overseeing clinical operations. Provide high-quality care and treatment to animals, ensuring the best outcomes for patients. Offer guidance and support to junior staff, promoting professional development. Maintain a positive and professional relationship with clients and their pets. Work alongside the management team to ensure the smooth running of the practice. Benefits Competitive salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per year. Private Medical Insurance. Health cash plan. Significant experience in small animal veterinary practice. Proven leadership and team management experience. Strong communication skills with both clients and team members. A proactive, positive attitude and a passion for continuous improvement in veterinary care.
