We are pleased to support a well-established veterinary practice in Derbyshire in their search for an experienced and dedicated Night Veterinary Surgeon. This exciting opportunity offers flexible working with a 7 on, 7 off shift pattern, ensuring a great work-life balance. Location: Derbyshire Contract Duration: 24th February 2025 to 30th August 2025 Shifts: 7 on, 7 off Working Hours: 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM Key Responsibilities: Provide emergency and critical care for animals during the night shift. Perform diagnostics, surgery, and treatment plans for urgent cases. Work closely with the night nurse and any on-call support staff. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Offer professional advice and support to clients in emergency situations. Skills & Experience Required: RCVS registered with a minimum of 2 years' veterinary experience. Previous experience in emergency care or night shifts is desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
