Top 3 Things to Know About this Job 1️⃣ Competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,0002️⃣ Work with a well-established, industry-leading FMCG company3️⃣ Opportunities for career development in a dynamic and supportive environment The Role As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for: Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on production equipment Troubleshooting and fault-finding on both mechanical and electrical systems, including PLCs Ensuring minimal downtime and optimal efficiency across the production lines Assisting with equipment upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives Working closely with production teams to ensure a smooth and efficient manufacturing process The Person The ideal candidate will have: A completed Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally to HNC level Strong cross-skilling experience in both mechanical and electrical maintenance Experience working with PLC systems Previous experience in the FMCG or food industry (preferred), although candidates from other manufacturing sectors will be considered A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement The Rewards Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 Career progression opportunities within a well-established business A supportive and collaborative working environment Exposure to cutting-edge manufacturing technology Next Steps – Why Hunter Savage?
